Flash Poker Hand History Replayer

Let me introduce you new flash hand history replayer. Replayer works with hand history converter and supports Texas Hold'em hands of several poker-rooms: Party Poker, PokerStars, Ultimate Bet, Absolute Poker, OnGame Network (BWin, Hollywood Poker, EuroBet and so on).

To get your hand replayed you must open hand history converter. Choose output format "Replayer" from drop-down menu. Copy hand history text (just one, multiple hands are not supported) into "Input" field and press "Convert Hand" button below. If everything is OK, you'd see converted text in "Output" field and "Replayer!" button below would become available. Press this button to launch replay in the new window.

Current version of the replayer allows to see not just old hands, but make a sort of tasks, ask other players' opinions on the best play on any round of the game. You have several options to add into simple replay (I recommend you to replay the hand without any editing first, than make changes and press "Replay!" once more to see extended version):

  1. Add comments to the hand at whole. You can add your comments to the hand by adding into "Output" field the second line like #your comment here#. For example after conversion you've got:
"Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) by Hand Converter CG
Preflop: Hero is CO with 8c, 8h."

To get a comment in the replayer you must edit it like this:
"Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) by Hand Converter CG
#this is comment to the hand. It can be quite long, it will be shown in the text field at the bottom of the replayer#
Preflop: Hero is CO with 8c, 8h."
  2. Add notes to certain players. You can add short notes to certain players, e.g. his stats. This notes will be shown above players position. I recommend to make comments really short, up to 30 characters, otherwise it wouldn't fit its field. To add the comment you must insert #your note# before player's name in preflop actions. For example after conversion you've got:
"Preflop: Hero is CO with 8c, 8h.
UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 (poster) checks, MP3 (poster) checks, Hero (poster) checks, Button calls, SB folds, BB checks.
    "
To get notes for UTG and Button you must edit text like this::
"Preflop: Hero is CO with 8c, 8h.
#fish 45/5/0,6# UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 (poster) checks, MP3 (poster) checks, Hero (poster) checks, #LAG; love semi-bluff# Button calls, SB folds, BB checks.
    "
Pay attention: a) there must be spaces at both sides of the comments, b) you can't use ", " (comma-space) sequence in the notes, they can be used separate, but not consecutive, c) you can't use position names as in text (e.g. UTG, Hero, MP2 etc.), d) it's better not to use special symbols.
  3. Add possibility to make own decisions. You can allow other players to make their moves before Hero does them. If you want to know opinion of other players on the best move, you must put ??? (three question marks) before "Hero" name in the action text. So you want to know how other players would play on turn and hand was like this:
    "Turn: (6.25 BB) 3h (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, Button raises, UTG folds, Hero calls
    ."
    You must edit to:
    "Turn: (6.25 BB) 3h (3 players)
UTG checks, ??? Hero bets, Button raises, UTG folds, Hero calls
    ."
If you made such changes, the replayer would stop before Hero's move and player will see three action buttons: Fold, Check/Call, Bet/Raise (for pot- and no-limit games with scroll and bet amount field). As soon as player will make his/her decision, it will be written in the text field and the replayer will continue to show how Hero actually have played. You can place ??? before any Hero action, even several times on the same street. And again do not forget about spaces before and after ???.

When replay is over, you'll be asked  whether to repeat replay, finish it, or record hand into database. If you choose "Record into DB" than converted hand from "Output" field will be put into database and new page with the link to replay the recorded hand will be opened. You can give the link to your poker friends, post it on forum etc. By clicking this link a player will open the replayer with the hand exactly as you saw it before recording (with all comments and voting). If a player took decisions during replay, he/she would be asked to record votes into database. After pressing "Save votes" button new window with voting results will be opened.

If you don't have hand history file right now, you can check ready made example: http://www.softforpoker.com/flash/playdb.php?hand=32.

I want to warn you that it's quite new soft, so some errors can emerge. Please report bugs, give opinions, recommendations, wishes, etc. either though converter feedback form or .

Known problems:

  1. When in Limit Hold'em one of the players is all-in, wrong bet and pot size are shown.
  2. If you use Party Poker tournament hands, write correct big blind amount as hand history missed it.
  3. It's not a bug, it's a feature: the replayer shows not more than two side pots, main pot shows total pot amount, including side pots.
  4. If you have some problems with the flash (e.g. can't see cards) than you probably have old version of the Flash Player. You can get the last version from Macromedia site (it's free). If you can't see a single card, it's probably ace of diamonds. Picture is called Ad.gif and many anti-adware programs block it, so update your program settings.
